e Municipality of Anchorage and its telephone util ity sued Hita-
chi Cable, Ltd. for bribery of two municipa l employees, Forrest Ellis
and Richard McBride. e Municipality sought the remedies available
for violations of the Sherman Act, Racketeer Inuenced and Corrupt
Organizations Act (RICO), and the Robinson–Patman Act, among
others.
At issue were motions by Hitachi Cable to dismiss the Robinson–
Patman Act claim for lack of standing and by the Municipality for
summary judgment on its various claims.
