§ 34.24 • CHANGES IN SUBJECT MATTER OF SPECIFIC DEVISES

Have there been changes in or dispositions of property subject to specific devises in such a way as to raise the question whether ademption has taken place or whether the devisee takes the property in its modified form?⁹² This question occurs frequently in connection with stock dividends, stock splits, consolidations, mergers, and reorganizations affecting corporations (see § 30.6).
