§ 34.5 • ADVANCEMENTS

If the estate is intestate, did the decedent make any gifts to any of the heirs that could be considered as advancements? If so, do any of the other heirs wish to contend that they should be brought into hotchpot (see § 12.7)?⁶ See Estate of Light⁷ for an example of application of the rules of advancement and hotchpot.
