Is there any possibility that any part of the estate goes to a person who cannot be located or is unknown, so that the state of Colorado may have an interest under the provisions of the escheat statute? If so preparations should be made to comply with C.R.S. §§ 15-11-105 and 15-12-914 (see § 35.8).125

A decision of the U.S. Supreme Court lays down guidelines for determining which of several states claiming an escheat is entitled to it.126
