CONCLUSION
As will be clear from reading the student text, Pass the Bar Exam, I believe the bar
exam can be a most empowering experience. It needlessly feeds defeatism to hold the
bar exam out as some sort of torture. In this Teacher’s Edition, I have tried to show
how “teaching moments” arise in bar support, from the rst time a student hears about
the exam until the last “time” is called by exam proctors (and often well beyond). Pre-
paring for and succeeding at something this challenging provides striking parallels to
the daunting tasks many lawyers face each day. I hope the text and this companion
teacher’s guide will help you to help your students seize this incredible opportunity.
And, as I noted in the Introduction, I hope to have added to the critical ongoing dia-
logue on how to more eectively serve our students and prepare them to serve others.17
