EXTRACURRICULAR
BAR SUPPORT
Using Pass the Bar Exam for extracurricular bar support, you can conduct some or all
of the following ten workshops. You can schedule them at any time, but it may be
convenient to hold the rst ve in the fall semester and the second ve in the spring.
(Note: Curricular bar support is discussed in the next part of this guide, and includes
a sample course syllabus, assignments, and suggested tools to assess student perfor-
mance and measure student learning.)
Below is a list of the workshop titles followed by general suggestions and a descrip-
tion of each. It is helpful to post a calendar of workshops at the beginning of each
academic year so that students can save the dates and prepare ahead for workshops by
reading relevant portions of text and/or completing assigned exercises.

of the content in these workshops may also be the subject of individual counseling
sessions with students who approach you during oce hours. (A few special notes on
oce hours appear below as well.)
