ity requirement
Evidence of the abuser’s U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident
status, such as:
A copy of a passport
A copy of a permanent resident card
A U.S. birth certicate
A U.S. naturalization certicate
Evidence of the applicant’s relationship with the abuser, including mar
riage and divorce decrees
Evidence showing the marriage was entered into in good faith, such as:
Proof that one spouse is listed as the other’s spouse on insurance
policies
Property leases
Income tax forms
Bank accounts
Afdavits
Evidence regarding the applicant and spouse’s courtship, wedding
ceremony, shared residence, and experiences
