Christopher A. Ward serves as vice chair of Polsinelli PC's Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Practice Group and is the managing shareholder of Polsinelli PC's Wilmington, Del., office. In addition to acting as primary counsel to the firm's clients in matters pending in Delaware, he serves as Delaware local counsel, conflicts counsel, avoidance action/contingency fee counsel, special litigation counsel and claims-administration counsel in various matters pending before both the Delaware courts and other bankruptcy courts across the country. Mr. Ward focuses his practice on corporate bankruptcy, financial restructuring, bankruptcy litigation, out-of-court workouts and debtor-in-possession financing. He has represented a vast array of clients, including numerous chapter 11 debtors, creditors' committees, liquidating and litigation trusts, equity committees and shareholders, assignees in assignments for the benefit of creditors (ABCs), asset-purchasers, receivers...
