In memory of Kathleen Callahan Anderson (1953 to 1998). Kathleen was a for-
mer Director of the Corporate Counsel Division and a member of the Governing
Committee of the Forum on Franchising. She conceived of the idea of a compli-
ance manual for franchise counsel and was always an inspiration to all who
knew her.
