§ 12.12 • DECREE

Assuming that the matter will be uncontested, prepare a proposed Decree Quieting Title (Form 12-14) in advance of trial, to be signed by the court after all evidence has been presented. Be sure to use the full caption because a copy of this Decree, certified by the court clerk, will be recorded in the real property records and indexed under the names in the caption. See Title Standard 2.1.2. You should make sure that the Decree disposes of all outstanding interests in the property, including the interests of parties who have disclaimed.
