QUICK TAKE
Interest and dividend income is usually lumped into a category called investment
income. Parents take money they have saved and place it in savings accounts or buy bonds
and stocks. The major problem with investment income is whether the principal that is driv-
ing the investment income will exist in the future and be available to child support.
