Resolution to dispose of surplus real property (Value in Excess of $100,000.00)

WHEREAS, pursuant to Town Law, the XYZ Fire District, Town(s) of XX), County of (XX), State of New York should the board of fire commissioners (board) declare that real property owned by the Fire District is no longer necessary for the purposes of the XYZ Fire District, XYZ Fire District is authorized to dispose and sell said property of the Fire District subject to determination of value and the appropriate resolution subject, when applicable a permissive or mandatory referendum; and

WHEREAS, the board has engaged the service of xxx, a real property appraiser to determine the value of said land , and according to said written appraisal the value of the property exceeds $100,000.00 , which requires a mandatory referendum before the property is disposed or sold;

Now THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,
