MARY A. VIVIANO

As General Counsel for EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc., Mary A. Viviano handles a wide variety of natural resources, corporate and litigation matters.

She currently serves as a member of the Executive Committee and a Trustee of the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation.

Mary has previously authored papers on royalties, public lands and administrative law topics.

Her background includes a B.S. from Regis University, a J.D. with honors from the University of Denver; and land positions with Chevron U.S.A. and Anadarko Petroleum Corp.

JONAH INFILL DRILLING PROJECT EIS TIMELINE

April 2002 EnCana meets with BLM Pinedale Field Office to inform them infill drilling contemplated within Jonah Field.
09/03/02 EnCana proposes additional development within the existing Jonah Field (1,250 wells from 850 locations).
03/13/03 NOI for Jonah Infill Drilling Project EIS published (68 Fed. Reg. 12,100).
04/17/03 Public meeting in Pinedale regarding Jonah Infill Drilling Project EIS.
11/13/03 Second Public meeting in Pinedale (revised proposed action described).
11/20/03 EnCana officially proposes additional development (3,100 wells from 16,200 acres of disturbance) and Off-site mitigation.
12/12/03 BLM issues additional scoping letter inviting comments on revised proposed action and alternatives (describes proposed action and alternatives A, B, C and D).
01/16/04 Comment period on second round of scoping closes.
02/11/05 DEIS for Jonah Infill Drilling Project released, begin 60 day public comment period. (70 Fed. Reg. 7296; 70 Fed. Reg. 7256).
04/12/05 Comment period for Jonah Infill Drilling Project DEIS closes on all issues except air quality. BLM extends the public comment period on all air quality issues until the supplemental air quality modeling and information can be released for public comment. (70 Fed. Reg. 19094).
08/09/05 Additional air quality modeling and supplemental analysis released for public comment. (70 Fed. Reg. 46187). Begin 60 day public comment period.
10/07/05 Public comment period for additional air quality modeling and supplemental analysis closes.
01/13/06 Final EIS released, begin 30 day public comment period.
