Remote inspection of I-9 docs extended to end of 2021

U.S. immigration officials have extended until Dec. 31 the COVID-related rules that let certain employers remotely examine new hires' I-9 work eligibility documents. This policy applies to workplaces operating remotely during COVID. Once the policy ends, employers must review these virtually verified documents in person.
