FOREWORD
The Section of Antitrust Law of the American Bar Association is
pleased to publish the Indirect Purchaser Litigation Handbook. The
Handbook explores the background of antitrust claims brought by
indirect purchasers and describes the legal framework for addressing the
issues that commonly arise in indirect purchaser litigation.
The Handbook was prepared by a working group, headed by Michael
A. Lindsay and Ronald W. Breaux, within the Section’s Trial Practice
Committee. The Section appreciates the expertise and experience that
have gone into this initial edition of the Handbook. This Section hopes
that the Handbook will contribute greatly to the bench’s and bar’s
understanding of indirect purchaser litigation.
