Erratum
In Belman, Wolfson, and Nawakitphaitoon (2015), the following errors were
published on page 584:
The citation Morgan (1990), and CHRIST, CARL F., Christ (1994)in the
main text of the Identication sub-section of Methodological Issues should
have been removed. The citation in its correct format was already present in
footnote 3, and its presence in the main text was redundant.
The text should have read:
Methodological Issues
Identication. The issue identied by the phrase Correlation is not causa-
tionhas been of interest to economics, a largely observational science, at least
since Working (1927).
3
Experimental sciences can resolve the issue either
explicitly by systematic variation in causal variables or implicitly by randomly
assigning experimental subjects to treatment or control groups.
We apologize for these errors.
