EEOC charges down overall, but harassment claims soar.

The total number of employee complaints filed with the EEOC fell 9% in 2018, dropping to a 12-year low of 76,418 charges. However, the number of complaints that included charges of on-the-job sexual harassment spiked by more than 13% from 2017.

The message: In this #MeToo era, harassment victims are less likely to stay quiet and more likely to speak up (and file claims)...
