§ 4.5 • COLORADO VENDOR SELF SERVICE

For all construction projects subject to the Construction Bidding for Public Entities or Colorado Procurement Code and for which competitive notification or solicitation procedures are required, a notification and the contract award must be placed on VSS,¹⁰² which is the central database and notification system created by the executive director pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-102-202.5.¹⁰³ Detailed specifications are not included with the notice on VSS, and all information must be available to public inspection.¹⁰⁴ Despite the additional requirements for notification and contract award, contractors for state construction projects do not need to be registered for VSS to be responsive.¹⁰⁵
