§ 29.6 • CRIMES RELATING TO MANUFACTURED HOMES

§ 29.6.1—Crimes Relating to Manufactured Homes Generally

A person who makes an application for a certificate of title, written transfer thereof, satisfaction and release, oath, affirmation, affidavit, statement, report, or deposition required to be made or taken under any of the provisions of C.R.S. title 38, article 29 and who, upon such application, transfer, satisfaction and release, oath, affirmation, affidavit, statement, report, or deposition swears or affirms willfully and falsely to a matter material to the issue, point, or subject matter in question, in addition to any other penalties provided for in article 29, is guilty of perjury in the second degree.30

§ 29.6.2—Crimes Relating to the Sale, Transfer, or Disposal of a Manufactured Home

A person who sells, transfers, or in any manner disposes of a manufactured home in Colorado without complying with the requirements of C.R.S. title 38, article 29 is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, will be punished by a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $500, or by imprisonment in the county jail for not less than ten days nor more than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.31

A person who violates any of the provisions of C.R.S. § 38-29-112(1)32 is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, will be punished by a fine of not less than $250 nor more than $1,000, or by imprisonment in the county jail for not less than ten days no more than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.33

§ 29.6.3—Crimes Relating to the Procurement of a Certificate of Title to a Manufactured Home

A person who violates any of the provisions of C.R.S. § 38-29-12034 or any rule of the director relating thereto is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, will be punished by a fine of not less than $50 nor more than $100, or by imprisonment in the county jail for not less than ten days nor more than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.35

§ 29.6.4—Crimes Relating to the Surrender of a Certificate of Title to a Manufactured Home

A person who violates any of the provisions of C.R.S. § 38-29-118(1)36 commits a class I petty offense and, upon conviction, will be punished as provided in C.R.S. § 18-1.3-503.37
