§ 2.6 E-Filing

C.R.C.P. 121 § 1-26 governs the electronic filing and service system for Colorado district courts, and C.R.C.P. 305.5 applies similarly to county court civil cases. Many Colorado district courts and some county courts require electronic filing, and all Colorado district courts have electronic filing available. Colorado attorneys should register with the E-Filing/Service System Provider authorized by the Colorado Supreme Court in order to use the electronic filing system. To check availability of the E-System, counsel can consult the Colorado Supreme Court website at http://www.courts.state.co.us/supct/supctindex.htm. The deadline for filing documents with the court electronically is 11:59 p.m., which is sometimes more convenient than trying to file a document by close of business in the court clerk's office.
