§1.5 PURPOSE AND PROCEDURE
CR 1 applies to all civil lawsuits in superior court, whether in law or in equity, with the exceptions stated in CR 81. See also CR 2 (there is one form of action known as a "civil action"). The purpose of CR 1 is to ensure that the civil rules are construed to accomplish the fair, economical, and expeditious resolution of disputes.
