§1.4 COMPARISON WITH FEDERAL RULE

CR 1 is modeled after FED. R. CIV. P. 1.Compare CR 1 with FED.R. CIV. P. 1; see also CR 1, cmt. ("[t]his rule is similar to FRCP 1"), 71 Wn.2d xxvi (1967). The federal rules were restyled in 2007. FED. R. CIV. P. 1, Committee Notes on Rules—2007Amendment. In this restyle, the language of FED. R. CIV. P. 1 was amended to make it "more easily understood and to make style and terminology consistent throughout the rules." Id. According to the notes to FED. R. CIV.
