Banished to a cubicle: Does isolation = retaliation?

After Maria complained to HR that she was told not to speak Spanish at work, her boss assigned her to a cubicle with no phone. She sued, alleging retaliation. The court sided with her, saying being stuck in a cubicle without adequate equipment could be retaliation, even with the same pay and benefits as her old job. (Collazo v. County of Suffolk, ED NY)
