ABA will honor winners of new Community Commitment Awards at convention.

WINNERS OF THE ABA'S NEW COMMUNITY COMMITMENT AWARDS will be honored Oct. 16 during the ABA Annual Convention in San Diego.
The Community Commitment Awards program supersedes the ABA Community Bank Awards that were established in 2005 to commend community banks for exceptional charitable achievements. The program has evolved to better recognize the entire industry's efforts in communities across the country.
The new awards program is designed to honor innovative, high-impact bank programs and projects that produce lasting results in the communities they serve. The five award categories are:
