Sixty-three students graduated in the 2007 class of the ABA School of Bank Marketing and Mangement (SOBMM).

The school was held June 23-28 at Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill. The 2007 graduation took place at the conclusion of the school's second week-long segment. The first segment was held last year.

The winner of the Jim Donnelly Award of excellence, which is given annually to the best student paper, went to Graham Lee Chalk of BB&T Bank, Winston-Salem, N.C. The paper's title was, "Defining the 18-to-34 Segment for Financial Services: Acquisition, Retention and Development."

Founded in 1948, the SOBMM is the only national bank marketing educational institution of its kind and has an industrywide reputation for excellence.
