SCDOT hosting information sessions on Midlands projects.

The South Carolina Department of Transportation is hosting public information sessions about two Midlands projects.

SCDOT employees will provide information and answer questions about the replacement of the U.S. 76 bridges over U.S. 15 and U.S. 76 Business in Sumter. At a separate meeting, people can learn about planned safety improvements at the intersection of St. Peters Road and Old Cherokee Road in Lexington.

On Sept. 10, people in Sumter can get more information and provide written comments on the bridge replacements between 5 and 7 p.m. at Harmony Church, located at 1021 Sterling St. Click here for more information on the project.
