The Foundation Center is hosting a webinar titled
“How to Apply to the Creative Work Fund” on its
Grantspace.org platform on Oct. 25 at 6:00 p.m. PDT
and Oct. 31 at 12:00 p.m. PDT.
The Creative Work Fund awards grants to artists and
nonprot organizations to create new art works through
collaborations. It celebrates the role of artists as problem
solvers and the making of art as a profound contribu-
tion to intellectual inquiry and to the strengthening of
communities.
In August 2017, the fund will award approximately
$600,000 in grants to nonprot organizations and col-
laborating literary or traditional artists. Grants will range
from $10,000 to $40,000.
In this webinar, representatives of the Creative Work
Fund will describe guidelines and the grantmaking pro-
cess, and respond to questions from potential applicants.
