Webinar gives tips

According to organizers, this webinar is geared

Webinar looks
at fundraising metrics
The Foundation Center will hold a webinar
titled “Measuring Effective Fundraising: A
Framework to Evaluate Impact” on Sept. 12 at
2:00 p.m. ET.
Hosted on the center’s GrantSpace.org platform,
this webinar will explore a new framework that helps
nonprot boards and leadership teams measure and
reect on the efcacy of their fundraising efforts.
Developed by BoardSource in partnership with
Candid, the BBB Wise Giving Alliance and the
Association of Fundraising Professionals, this new
framework is expected to result in more informed
conversations about fundraising strategy and
avoiding the risks of underinvesting in fundraising
efforts.
Upon completion of this webinar, attendees should
be able to:
explain how the cost of fundraising is only one
measure of the health of a fundraising strategy and
why it does not convey effectiveness,
understand what the dependency quotient is and
how it applies to their organization,
recognize the relationship between the cost of
fundraising and donor dependency in nonprofit
fundraising and
illustrate the benets of fundraising tactics that
may initially have higher costs.

Foundation Center webinar focuses

The Foundation Center will host a webinar titled
“Plan Your Best #GivingTuesday Campaign” on
Sept. 26 at 2:00 p.m. ET.
According to organizers, the planning and execution
of a successful #GivingTuesday awareness campaign
can be daunting, especially for beginners. But it is
also of critical importance, as #GivingTuesday has
quickly become one of the biggest fundraising events
of the year.
This webinar, led by Jamie McDonald from the
#GivingTuesday team, will help attendees ensure
they are well-prepared for their campaigns, after
learning from case studies of nonprots that have
seen successes of their own.
