Foundation Center webinar
looks at data-driven fundraising
The Foundation Center will host a webinar titled
“Data-Driven Fundraising: Engaging Donors” Dec.
7 at 2:00 p.m. EST.
In a world full of big data, predictive analytics
and articial intelligence, organizers say, it can
be difcult to determine how “data-driven” your
organization is. This webinar, hosted by Zach Shef-
ska, entrepreneur and director of the Fundraising
Report Card, will help attendees answer this ques-
tion by exploring data-driven fundraising concepts,
specically segmentation techniques they should be
using to identify donors to engage with at the end
of the year. The webinar will look at strategies and
tactics aimed at helping you focus your attention
on the right donors at the right time and ultimately
maximize your capacity to raise money.
Participants should walk away with the ability to:
Identify their recently lapsed or downgraded
donors.
Develop a plan to engage and solicit lapsed and
downgraded donors.
Assess the effectiveness of targeted appeals to
lapsed and downgraded donors.
Select 10 donors they will engage using sug-
gested tactics before the end of the calendar year.
Fees for this event range up to $69, depending on
date of registration.

Webinar focuses on board
member fundraising
The Foundation Center will host a webinar titled
Activate Your Board’s Fundraising Potential” Dec.
14 at 2:00 p.m. EST.
This webinar will address a situation many non-
prots face: Their board members are neither mak-
ing the signicant gifts the organization expected
nor are they asking for major gifts from within their
networks. What’s going wrong? Gregory Cohen
from Cause Effective will explore how to use your
mission and peer-to-peer encouragement to create
a culture that motivates all board members to give
and fundraise generously.
Upon completion of this webinar, organizers say,
attendees should be able to:
Apply strategies for creating a peer-to-peer
support and accountability for board fundraising.
Clearly communicate board members’ roles.
Draft and facilitate a board action plan.
Guide board members’ fundraising success via
relationship-building rather than more frequent
asking.
Registration fees for this event are $69.
