Charityhowto.com webinar offers
primer on social media fundraising
Nonprot resources website Charityhowto.com will
host a webinar titled “How to Set Your Nonprot
Up for Social Media Fundraising Success” on Feb.
5 at 1:00 p.m. ET.
According to organizers, the rise in popularity
of social media channels over the past decade has
fundamentally changed how people connect with
one another, discover news, and consume and share
information that matters.
This webinar—led by Julia Campbell, a digital
marketing strategist—will explore how this monu-
mental shift in communications has affected the role
of fundraisers and nonprot leaders. It will look
at how they can leverage the power and potential
of social media to not only “connect,” but also to
actively raise funds for their causes and to cultivate
relationships with their donors.
Attendees will also hear about best practices in the
sector and specic tips on measuring the return on
investment of social media for their nonprot.
This event is free to the public.

Candid webinar looks at ‘high-
performance’ practices for nonprots
Candid will host a webinar titled “High-Perfor-
mance Practices Successful Nonprots Need” on Feb.
6 at 2:00 p.m. ET.
The webinar, hosted on the organization’s
Grantspace.org platform, will be led by two nonprot
leaders, Terri Sorensen and Juan De Angulo, who
will share how the Performance Imperative and the
Performance Practice, which are core resources drawn
from the Leap Ambassadors Community, can help
nonprots advance their missions. The webinar will
look at case-study examples, including how Friends of
the Children used the resources in a period of rapid
growth to align chapters across the country around
their joint goal of achieving the best possible results
for as many children as possible. As another example,
the leaders will discuss how Congreso, a multiservice
organization, integrated the resources into a broader
organizational improvement effort, and the benets
they’ve seen.
Upon completion of this webinar, attendees should
be able to:
• introduce a framework for continuous improve-
ment in their organizations,
• use an organizational self-assessment to engage
stakeholders in identifying organizational needs and
articulating a plan for improvement and
• take the next step on their organization’s journey
to high performance.
This webinar is free to the public.

Webinar gives tips on nurturing
relations with corporate donors
Candid will host a webinar titled “Nurturing
Corporate Relationships: Converting Prospects Into
Partners” on Feb. 13 at 2:00 p.m. ET.
Hosted on the organization’s Grantspace.org
platform, the webinar will be led by Jessica James,
founder and principal consultant, Jessica James
Consulting LLC.
As explained by the webinar’s organizers, corpo-
rate partners have the potential to supply a nonprot
with enthusiastic volunteers, pro bono support and
funding. But this requires a thoughtful strategy, an
educated board and a mindset rooted in knowing
and showing the value-add of your organization to a
corporation’s core business. This webinar will rewire
how you think about the nonprot and corporate
dynamic, give attendees a framework for engagement
that drives partnerships and provide them with spe-
cic tools and language to move a company from a
prospect to a partner.
Upon completion of this webinar, attendees should
be able to:
• map out their organization’s corporate prospects,
• motivate their board members to be effective
ambassadors,
• plan how to leverage their board’s network to
connect with corporate prospects,
• create engagement opportunities that further
their mission and attract corporate partners and
• develop strategies for turning existing corporate
partners into donors.
Registration fees for this event are $49 until Feb.
5, after which they will increase to $75.
