focuses on ‘The Awesome Ask’
Nonprot resources site Charityhowto.com will

Approach Your Donors for Gifts in a Way That’s
Comfortable and Effective!” on Feb. 6 and Feb. 14,
at 3:00 p.m. EST and 1:00 p.m. EST, respectively.
According to organizers, asking for charitable gifts
in person is the most effective fundraising you can
do, with research showing that 75 percent of all in-
person asks of individuals result in a gift. However,
it is also the most challenging fundraising you will
do, and you need the understanding and tools to do
it comfortably and effectively.
This webinar, led by Brian Saber, president of Asking
Matters, will show attendees how to use their personal
asking style every step of the way—from identifying
the best prospects to soliciting them for quality gifts.
Participants will learn how to:
Identify their own, specic asking style and use
it to their advantage.
Identify the prospects they are most suited to
solicit.
• Develop their personal case for support.
• Get prepared to make the ask.
• Set up their meetings effectively.
• Understand their role as an asker.
Employ a simple conversation structure that will
make their asks work.
Fees for this event are $87.
