PREFACE
The Section of Antitrust Law is pleased to publish this Handbook of
U.S. Antitrust Sources. The Handbook is designed to give practitioners
easy access to the most fundamental resources for practicing antitrust
law. It collects the full text of the relevant antitrust statutes, the most
important statutory antitrust exemptions, all current federal antitrust
guidelines, and the Hart-Scott-Rodino premerger notification rules.
The lead editor for this Handbook was Stephen A. Stack, ably
assisted by Joyce E. Choi and Elizabeth A. N. Haas of the Section’s Civil
Practice and Procedure Committee, Kristen M. Anderson, the Young
Lawyer Representative to the Books and Treatises Committee, Tracey D.
Berger, Wesley R. Powell, and Melissa Whitehead.
