FOREWORD
The Section of Antitrust Law is pleased to publish this Handbook of
U.S. Antitrust Sources. This Handbook is designed to give practitioners
easy access to the most fundamental resources for practicing antitrust
law. It collects the full text of the relevant antitrust statutes, the most
important statutory antitrust exemptions, all current federal antitrust
guidelines, and the Hart-Scott-Rodino rules.
The principal editor and project leader for this Handbook was
Stephen A. Stack, ably assisted by a working group headed up by
members of the Section’s Civil Practice and Procedure Committee. We
believe antitrust practitioners will find this Handbook to be an important
resource for their practice.
