PIANY Leader meets with Southern Tier lawmakers to discuss legislative priorities.

Professional Insurance Agents of New York Government Affairs Committee Vice Chairperson Steven Stork, CIC, met with local lawmakers to discuss legislative issues affecting the states insurance industry, as part of the associations District Office Visits program. Stork met with Sen. Thomas F. O'Mara, R-58, and Assemblyman Philip A. Palmesano, R-132, on Dec. 16, 2019.

"The District Office Visits program is essential in ensuring that the voices of New York independent insurance agents are heard by state legislators," said PIANY President John Tomassi, CPCU. "These influential meetings help PIANY and independent agents stay at the forefront of legislators' minds and concerns.
