An analysis of law firm website traffic patterns by One North interactive has shown that the percentage of mobile traffic to law firm websites has almost doubled each year from 2011 to 2013. in 2011, firms saw a modest 3.2 percent of their traffic from either mobile devices or tablets. That percentage rose to 6 percent in 2012, and looking at the same time period in 2013, mobile traffic currently makes up 11.4 percent of visits--40 percent of those visits from tablets and 60 percent from smartphones.
