McCaughey Proposals to Reform Medicaid Win Praise; Would Mandate Managed Care Coverage.

ALBANY, N.Y. (CNS) -- Lieutenant Governor-elect Elizabeth McCaughcy's Medicaid proposal, which includes $1.3 billion in Medicaid cuts, mandates that Medicaid recipients enroll in a managed care system and calls for tightening of the eligibility requirements for persons to receive Medicaid benefits, has been praised by Assemblyman Robert A. Stranicre (R-C-RTL-Richmond).
