NOTICEBOARD

NOTICEBOARD will publish without charge announcements of reasonable length on matters deemed of interest to readers.

Such matters may include news of conferences or workshop series open to readers, and calls for papers; announcements of new

publications or working-paper series available to readers; invitations for the exchange of research data, or for collaboration in

research; news of international visitors, their interests, and where and how to contact them; information for academics planning to

visit other countries, and seeking contacts and invitations. Jobs vacant or wanted cannot be included in NOTICEBOARD. Copy

submission deadlines are about two months ahead of dates when subscribers receive their journal copies, so NOTICEBOARD

announcements must be submitted well in advance of the relevant events. The editors reserve the right to edit, shorten or reject any

material submitted, and page proofs will not normally be supplied before publication. All copy for NOTICEBOARD should be
