On behalf of Environmental Law, I am pleased to present our journal's first Fall Essay Series. Recognizing that the field of natural resources and environmental law is constantly evolving, we wanted to create a forum for scholars and practitioners to address these important law and policy developments through a series of short, opinion-based, essays. This first series, which explores the Sackett v. EPA Supreme Court decision from earlier this year, is a collaboration between Professor Joel A. Mintz of Nova Southeastern University, Albert M.
