collective liberation. The workshop will be hosted by

Greater Washington Society
of CPAs Conference
The Greater Washington Society of CPAs will host
its annual Government Contracting Conference Sept.
23–24 virtually this year, making the popular event
available to professionals both in industry and public
accounting rms nationally for the rst time.
According to organizers, contractors of all types
and sizes were looking ahead to continued growth
and opportunity entering 2020. However, although
managing unallowable costs and eliminating inef-
ciencies remain a focus, the pandemic has disrupted
the industry, leading many companies to focus more

identifying problem areas and dealing with cash-ow
issues, among other concerns.
In light of these changes, this conference will
provide the latest insights on current trends and hot
topics from leaders of the contracting sector, with
the aim of helping attendees navigate through this
disruptive time and learn from the experiences and
practical guidance from their peers.
Registration fees for this event range up to $349.
