according to the chart below.

2016 Survey of Nonprofit Executive Compensa-

tion respondents who give their boards an A for

their understanding of the board role earn nearly

$126,000 according to the chart. That’s about

$15,000 more in annual compensation than those

administrators who give their boards a B or C for

role comprehension. ■
