  1. Introduction

Women who make public sexual harassment go through demotion, retaliation, and denigration. (Jagsi, 2018) The #MeToo campaign has established a platform for women to denounce unacceptable workplace gender-related treatment. (Soklaridis et al., 2018) #MeToo reshaped employers' compliance to unreservedly bring to light a decision to fire a well-known tormentor following an investigation. (Tippett, 2018)

  2. Literature Review

The #MeToo movement should constitute a cultural disruption with the capacity to alter the workplace. (Bisom-Rapp, 2018) #MeToo changed the balance of power (Brown, 2016; Lazaroiu and Rommer, 2017; Mihaila, 2017; Moghtader, 2017; Nordberg, 2017; Petcu, 2017; Popescu Ljungholm, 2017; Popescu, 2017; Popescu and Alpopi, 2017) between highly situated oppressors and organizations. Managers recognize that the employer may determinedly take into account dismissal, and would even do so unhesitatingly, and that if they resign, their expectations for reemployment might not be as satisfactory as before, because corporations may carry out more appropriate thoroughness with reference to whether the executive has been denounced for misconduct. (Tippett, 2018) Matters of contention regarding the prevalent structure of sexism are hampered by conformist social frameworks that endorse and regulate male supremacy. (Kim, 2018)

  3. Methodology

Using and replicating data from ABC News, CAP, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, GEH, Graphiq, Raliance, Stop Street Harassment, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Vox/Morning Consult, and Washington Post, I performed analyses and made estimates regarding the prevalence and impact of sexual harassment and assault in the United States, female victims of sexual violence by type of perpetrator (lifetime reports), total sexual harassment charges filed, by industry (2005-2018), percentage of U.S. adults who think sexual harassment of women in the workplace is a serious problem, and percentage concerned about the #MeToo movement causing women to be denied professional opportunities because men are reluctant to work with them/men being falsely accused of sexual assault and harassment/the punishment for less-serious forms of sexual assault or harassment being the same as the punishment for more-serious forms of sexual assault or harassment.
