This final issue of 2015, which rounds out my first year as editor, is an
all-DSF extravaganza. The disputatio sine fine feature of Administration &
Society
(A&S) premiered in July 2000 as a way to open dialogue on a host of
theoretical, methodological, and substantive arguments published in the jour-
nal. Many readers found the exchange of views bracing and have expressed
support for seeing the feature continue. Alas, even with nine issues published
per volume, we can no longer justify the page space required to continue the
DSF feature in print form. Thus, we bring the printed life of the DSF to a
climactic conclusion in the current issue.
Readers who wish to continue to engage in dialogue and debate with A&S
authors need not despair, however. The DSF feature is taking on a new life as
part of an online extension of A&S we are calling “A&S Sine Fine.” Indeed,
to fulfill the true spirit of disputatio...
