Former chair of U. Texas System Board of Regents joins Cornerstone OnDemand board.

Sara Martinez Tucker is the former chair of the University of Texas System Board of Regents. In that role, she oversaw the governing body of the UT System and each of its 14 institutions. Most recently, she served as CEO of the National Math + Science Initiative, an organization focused on improving student performance in science, technology, engineering and math. In 2006, she was appointed as the under secretary at the U.S. Department of Education, where she had responsibility for all policies, programs and activities related to postsecondary education, vocational and adult education, and federal student aid. Tucker spent 16 years at AT&T and became the first Latina to reach the company's executive level.
