FOREWORD
The Section of Antitrust Law is pleased to present the Category
Management Antitrust Handbook. The Handbook is intended to explain
how category management works from a business standpoint and then to
address the economic and legal issues which can arise. The book is
directed to a non-legal as well as legal audience.
The Section is indebted to those who contributed to this Handbook.
This was a joint project of the Unilateral Conduct Committee and the
Civil Enforcement Committee. The Handbook would not have been
possible without the dedication and hard work of its project chairs,
editors, and authors, especially Gregory Huffman, Jay Levine, Julie
Soloway, and Albert Kim who guided the publication through to
completion.
