Executive Continuity File—Excerpted
We must not forget our History and the Philanthropists and their families who have helped IAM grow into the vibrant
ministry it is today! (Here the new ED is referred to all the historical documents and tapes that have been collected over
the last 34 years.)
Also, I suggest the new ED make a point of personally contacting our anonymous donors to introduce him/herself.
I suggest that until the new ED is comfortable with the annual timetable of dates for submission of various grant requests,
publications (annual report; summer, fall and winter newsletters; Faith Liaison letters; etc.) and public relations pieces to
the media, he/she request an annual work plan from the staff member responsible for those respective submissions and
publications identifying when they will be accomplished.

breakfast; set agenda for brief business meeting after the Retreat; decide whether to have the Retreat on or off site.
In coordination with Board President, nalize all Committee and Subcommittee assignments and leadership—these
should be posted before the Annual Retreat on the fourth Tuesday of January.
