lishes articles which reflect the varied approaches to the study
and practice of personnel management. Articles of direct
interest to both practitioners and teachers are welcomed. Of
particular mterest are studies which analyze the effects of
specific personnel procedures or programs on the manage-
ment
function and studies which assess the impact of person-
nel management on the broader areas of public policy and
administration. The Review is mdexed or abstracted m

Editorial
Urban Affairs Abstracts, ABC POL SCI, and the Public Affairs
Information Service Bulletin.
Manuscnpts should be submitted to Review of PublIC Personnel
and
Administration, Institute of Pubhc Affairs, Umversity of South
Carolina, Columbia, South Carolina 29208. Four (4) copies are

required. Articles are preferred which do not exceed 35 typewrit-
ten double-spaced pages Footnotes and bibliographic format
should follow the current journal style which is based on that

biographical statement of not more than
50 words describmg each author’s affihation, research interests,
and recent publications should accompany the manuscript. The
author’s
name, affiliation, and biographical mformation should
appear separately on the cover page.
