The Midyear Meeting in Pebble Beach this year offered beautiful California weather, golf, wine tours, lunch in Big Sur and Carmel, an evening bagpiper, fellowship, and wide-ranging CLE and general interest programs focused on cutting-edge topics and social justice issues. The Spring issue of the DCJ has a lot to live up to!

This issue features articles on topics as diverse as our members' practices. The topics range from causation in ERISA breach of fiduciary duty cases and lessons from the Georgia Supreme Court decision underscoring the need for a party's timely disclosure of insurance coverage to an overview of the insurance payment issues in the NFL concussion settlement and an overview of common mistakes in establishing federal subject matter jurisdiction.
