Development group seeks to strengthen Ohio business.

Strengthening Ohio's business environment is the goal of the newly formed Ohio Economic Development Association.

The group comprises business leaders and development officials from across Ohio. It has two goals, including:

1. Better connect economic development efforts throughout the state.

2. Market the state around the country and world.

The new association combines two former Ohio economic development groups--the Ohio Development Association and the Ohio Economic Development Council.

The new association has also formed a committee called Team Ohio, which will work with state officials to market Ohio to other states or countries.
