Conference on LGBT Engagement
and Fundraising Strategies
The Council for Advancement and Support of
Education will hold its Conference on LGBT En-
gagement and Fundraising Strategies March 1–2,
2016, in Washington, D.C.
According to CASE, the conference will present
a strategic conversation about engaging and fund-
raising practices for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans-
gender alumni. The LGBT community is growing in
visibility and formal acceptance, the group said. The
total buying power of this community is projected to
be more than $790 billion, and surveys indicate that
the LGBT community is especially likely to consider
supporting charitable organizations for which they
are committed with a planned gift. Participants will
learn how their institutions and organizations can
better welcome and integrate this community into
their educational advancement practices.
Registration fees range from $400 up to $605,
depending on membership status and date of
registration.
