Alliance for Nonprot Management
2019 Annual Conference
The Alliance for Nonprot Management will hold
its 2019 Annual Conference Oct. 23–25 in St. Louis.
This year’s conference will focus on the topic of
privilege and power, and their role in creating social
change. The challenge, according to conference orga-
nizers, is when there are competing desires and one
person or organization inherently has more power
than the other. Capacity builders in the nonprot
sector must confront questions of power and privilege
with each client engagement. Whether they are help-
ing with program evaluation, facilitating strategy or
guiding fund development efforts, they are faced with
questions of how power is being used. Conference at-
tendees will explore questions of power and privilege
in the sector and how they, as capacity builders, can
navigate, expose and inuence these issues.
Registration fees for this event range up to $650.
